Chi Kung

The practice of Chi Kung has been practiced for over two thousand years. It is a gentle form of exercise that strengthens joints, muscles, tendons and bones, nourishes internal organs, stimulates the circulation of energy in our body, and enhances mental clarity. Chi Kung not only maintains physical and mental well-being for healthy individuals but is an excellent way to gently introduce mobility and relaxation to persons who have physical challenges. Shanly teaches forms that are easy to follow and very effective. You will develop relaxation through this practice.

Chi Kung and Healing Touch relates to two distinct areas: External Chi Healing, which is treatment by the healer and Self Practice which is done by the individual and often recommended by the healer.
 Chi Kung Healing is a very holistic and integrated approach to health and healing; strong in prevention of illness as well as treatment of illness and imbalance. Together, Shanly and the client assess the actual state of the energy body which directs the treatment process.  After the treatment individual practices are recommended. This form of Chi Kung does not ‘do to’ one as much as it ‘does with’ one.
