Feeding your Demons is a powerful and profound method for working with rather than fighting against the obstacles, conflicts, and challenges of our life. By meeting our fears and obsessions with compassion and nurturing their underlying need, we allow them to transform into allies, insight and wisdom. Drawing on traditional practices and teachings of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, this process was developed by Lama Tsultrim Allione, a Western Buddhist teacher and author of Feeding Your Demons: Ancient Wisdom for Resolving Inner Conflict.
The Prajna Paramita teachings and meditation also introduced in this retreat invite us to awaken to the ultimate nature of mind. A concise and profound practice developed by Lama Tsultrim, this meditation fosters a spacious view to hold the personal work of Feeding your Demons.
Our time will include teachings, meditation, discussion, and practice of Feeding your Demons so that it may become of use to you on a daily basis. No previous experience or knowledge of Buddhism or meditation is necessary.
The Kapala I Training is the first in a series of 4 in-depth trainings in Feeding your Demons, Prajna Paramita and the lineage of the 11th century Tibetan yogini Machig Labdrön. Completion of Level I qualifies participants to continue studying with Lama Tsultrim Allione in higher training levels.
